Optus Marketing Team Wins Big

JONESBORO, ARKANSAS (March 2, 2022) — Optus, a national leader in managed IT, networking, and cloud communications, was recently recognized for its exemplary work at the 2022 American Advertising Federation (AAF) annual awards gala. The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting nearly 40,000 entries each year. The AAF’s local chapter honors the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising, showcasing the best work from Northeast Arkansas. 

Optus earned awards across a variety of categories, receiving three gold awards, one silver award, one bronze award, and a Judges’ Choice award for work produced in 2021. Gold awards will move on to the district-level competition, which features work from Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas.

  • Social Media Campaign: Optus Awareness (Gold)
  • Website Design: Optus Website (Gold)
  • Corporate Social Responsibility: Optus Covid Vaccine Campaign (Silver)
  • Infographic: 10 UCaaS Features and Benefits (Bronze)

Optus received recognition for all submissions, including a Judge’s Choice Award—given to reward excellence at the local level. Additionally, members of the Optus marketing team also received awards for independent work, including two gold and two silver awards for freelance and community outreach initiatives. Marketing team members include Kaity McLendon, digital marketing and sales analyst; Sophie Hedge, creative marketing specialist; Yubin Lim, intern; Whitney Blackburn, director of marketing.
